last day

so today was the last day of my three weeks vacation. I went to the cinema and watched toy story 3. it was fun^^ after that I had to prepare some things for lab work next week.
and yesterday my niece had her first day at school. it was lovely. she was excited and I had to think about my first day of school. it's such a weird feeling doing something completely new. scary and exciting at the same time.
oh, and I bought a new ring(picture below)


a few days ago I found an old camera. it belongs to my father, but he allowed me to take pictures with it. it's a zeiss ikon contessa LK. it's from 1962.(some pictures below) let's see,how the pictures i take with the contessa tun out.




oh and isn't he the cutest thing ever? my nephew.

today I walked around with my camera for abot 2 - 3 hours and couldn't find any good motive to take a picture of...so hopefully I'm more inspired tomorrow.

and next saturday I have to help my sister with taking some stuff to another place.

the painted veil

okay, so I had to wait 4 year for this movie to come here to good old germany.
I wanted to watch "the painted veil" since I've watched the trailer in 2006. I already gave up on the chance, that it will be released in germany, but yesterday I was in a media store and boom, there it was. And it really was worth it waiting so long. edward norton is such a brilliant actor and the story is just heartbreaking. I'm so glad I got the dvd now^^

today I will meet with my best friend and maybe we will take some picture or so...

walk the line

watched "walk the line" yesterday. definitely one of my favorite movies now. I like johnny cash anyway but Joaquin Phoenix just rocked that movie.
